18 Feb 2026 Beginner This material is for beginner players The 2026 World Series of Poker full schedule has been officially released, and by the look of things, we will have a massive summer in Las Vegas. The 57th annual World Series of Poker will once again feature 100 live bracelet events, the same number offered last year. Rumours surfaced at the end of last year suggesting a potential reduction in the number of bracelet events in the 2026 series. However, that is not the case. Once again, a full schedule will be available for all players worldwide. The festival will be held at the Horseshoe Las Vegas and the Paris Las Vegas from May 26 to July 15. CEO of WSOP, Ty Stewart, said the company's main goal is still to keep the WSOP the biggest poker event and to tell the stories of the thousands of players who compete every year. The parent company of GGPoker, NSUS Group Inc., bought the rights to run this summer series from Caesars Entertainment in 2024 for $500 million. It will be their second summer series. Main Event Could See a Delayed Final Table Return Most people are excited about the Main Event. The tournament starts on July 2 and ends on July 13 with the final table of nine players. On the other hand, there is no official date listed on the programme for when the winners will be announced. And because of that, some people think the WSOP might bring back a delayed final table style, like the famous November Nine era that ran from 2008 to 2016. During that time frame, the final table was put on hold for a few months. It would be played down to a winner again later that year. The managers dropped the format in 2017 because they wanted to end the Main Event quickly after the final table was set. There would be a significant change if the delayed format returned in 2026. It would likely make the biggest poker event even more intriguing. Michael Mizrachi took down the 2025 Main Event. He beat a massive field of 9,735 players to win $10 million and his eighth bracelet. That summer, Mizrachi, who is known as "The Grinder," also won the $50,000 poker player championship. $1 Million Added to the 2026 Player of the Year Race A big change for 2026 is that the WSOP Player of the Year competition will also get bigger. This season, the year-long race will give away $1 million in prizes. The winner will get a WSOP Paradise package worth $100,000, and their name will be added to the long list of Player of the Year winners. The race begins at WSOP Europe, which runs from March 31 to April 12 in Prague. It will count towards your total score if you win points there. These are the 100 best players in the race for 2026 Player of the Year. They will share the seven-figure prize pool. As the season goes on, players are even more motivated to get points, not just in Las Vegas in the summer. WSOP Live Streams Move In-House From May 26 through the first few days of the Main Event, the official WSOP YouTube channel will show free live streams every day. There will be commentary from professional players and analysts on each stream, focusing on a specific table at Paris Las Vegas. One of the people in the commentary will be Jeff Platt, who just started a new role with the WSOP. Platt tweeted: Decisions made by people with a lot more power than me! But, yes, we are moving the stage to Paris. And the stage...GUYS THE STAGE IS GOING TO BE AWESOME And you'll get to see it every day from home, for free!! https://t.co/c5aPSN3U1d— Jeff Platt (@jeffplatt) February 16, 2026 The goal is to give fans better access to the action by covering it regularly and having experts analyse it throughout the series. Buy-Ins for Every Type of Player The lowest buy-in bracelet event will be the $300 Gladiators of Poker event, which starts on July 8. People who don't play poker very often can compete in these events without risking a lot of money. On the other hand, June 13 will include a $250,000 high roller event. There are three tournaments in 2026 that cost six figures to join. 32 of the 100 live bracelet events will cost at least $10,000 to enter. Up until then, 25 events will be accessible to everyone for $1,000 or less. This summer, a player would need $1,101,950 to play in all of the bracelet events. $800,000 of that amount will be used to enter the 13 high-roller events with buy-ins of $25,000 or more. There isn't any information about the 2026 online bracelet events yet. We should find out more in the next few months. Plenty of people are already excited about the 2026 World Series of Poker, which will have 100 live events, possible changes to the Main Event format, a more competitive Player of the Year race, and more live streaming.
