A popular poker vlogger named Cory Eyring risked his entire net worth on a mind-blowing $180,000 pot at Lodge Card Club.

When loose-aggressive player "Threecoin" overbet and shoved, Cory made a decision that shocked everyone, both for what it meant and how he made it.

How Cory Built His Stack

Cory was almost off the rails before the famous hand happened.

His   went against Doc Hollywood’s  and hit both runs of the board in a double-runner situation, tripling up to win an $89,000 pot that would change his life.

Cory entered the next hand with a substantial chip count and a boost in confidence. He had everything to gain.

Threecoin, who was already known for making crazy, unpredictable plays, won a big pot of his own, which gave him enough chips to either beat Cory or double him up again.

Everything was set up for high-stakes chaos.

In Hand #90, Threecoin initiated the action with , and Cory 3bet with , clearly trying to pick out the loose player.

The flop read , which gave Cory a straight draw and a flush draw. There was only a gut shot for Threecoin.

The  landed on the turn and slowed down both players. The river, however, was the , which made a four-line straight flush.

Cory had the nut flush with the Ace of Hearts, but Threecoin shoved $85,000 into a pot of only $10,000, which was eight times the size of the pot.

It wasn't just a big bluff or a huge value bet; it was a move meant to throw an opponent off totally. It worked, and Cory was thrown into a deep tank.

“I’m Sitting with My Whole Net Worth”

When everyone at the table stopped talking, Cory said something chilling:

“I didn’t make this clear before the game, but I’m sitting with my whole net worth right now, technically speaking.”

When the $85,000 river shove came, he had only put $5,000 into the hand.

It wasn't just about equity or odds; it was about his whole bankroll. It wasn't easy to fold this.

Only the Jack of Hearts or the Six of Hearts could beat Cory's third-best nuts.

Strategy Breakdown: What Would You Do?

GTO charts can't help with this kind of hand. There is no set way to make an 8x pot shove when your opponent has air, a straight, or a straight flush. What made it even harder was this:

Cory held the Ace of Hearts, which blocked the nut flush.

The board shows , meaning that any Jack of Hearts will complete a straight flush.

Threecoin has a reputation for being extremely loose and capable of making massive bluffs.

Pot odds: He’s getting a little over 2:1 but risking his entire poker bankroll.

Cory did not stress himself about calculating combos or go with his gut. Instead, he let fate make the choice.

“If I pull the Ace of Hearts, I call. If I pull the Ten of Diamonds, I fold.”

He had two cards. He let Mariano, another professional poker player and one of the luckiest people on the poker stream, decide for him. People in the crowd held their breath.

Mariano picked the Ace of Hearts.

Cory made the call and won the biggest pot of his life, $180,000. With one hand, he doubled his net worth, and everyone in the room gasped in shock.

You shouldn't do what Cory did. It is very risky to put all of your money on the line in one hand, especially against a player like Threecoin. Most players are not ready, either mentally or financially.
