21 Sep 2025 Intermediate This material is for medium-skilled players HUD stats HUD (Heads-Up Display) in Hand2Note 4.1 displays real-time statistics on opponents right at the table, helping to quickly assess their playing style. The correct HUD setting is crucial for effective analysis of draws: by selecting the necessary data and hiding the excess, the player frees up space on the screen and focuses on important information. Thanks to the flexible options in the Settings section, you can control when the HUD is displayed or updated, and exactly what the statistics look like. Below we will take a detailed look at all the available options in this section and their purpose. The HUD settings tab is divided into 6 subsections and below we will go through each of them: HUD Disable HUD - completely disables the display of all HUD windows on tables (both in real time and in the replay). It is useful, for example, if you do not want to see the HUD in a certain situation, but at the same time continue to collect statistics. Enable HUD shadow - enables or disables the shadow under HUD windows. The shadow can make it easier to see the HUD on a bright or multicolored background of tables. If the background of the table is dark and the HUD panel is clearly visible, you can turn it off for a cleaner look. HUD opacity when mouse is outside of it - sets the transparency of the HUD when the mouse cursor is outside its boundaries. At a value of 1, the HUD is always fully visible; at lower values, the HUD becomes translucent until you hover the mouse over it. This is convenient so that the HUD does not interfere with the view of the table during periods of idleness, but immediately appears when pointing. HUD Positioning Extend HUD beyond table bounds (X, Y) - sets the maximum possible indentation of HUD windows outside the tables horizontally (X) and vertically (Y). The higher the value, the further you can move the HUD beyond the boundaries of the table window. For example, by installing 800×800, you can freely position the HUD panels outside the game table, which allows you not to clutter the table itself. Block moving HUD by mouse - prohibits moving the HUD panels with the mouse during the game. When this option is enabled, you will not be able to accidentally "shift" the HUD. Scale font sizes in HUD along with table window size - scales fonts in HUD when changing the size of the table window. If enabled, all HUD labels will automatically scale when you zoom in or out of the table windows. This is convenient when playing on different resolutions or window sizes, so that the HUD always remains readable. Minimal HUD scaling, % - the minimum percentage of HUD scaling when resizing tables. For example, 80% means that when the window is reduced to a minimum, the HUD font will not become smaller than 80% of the original size. It helps to avoid too small and unreadable numbers in the HUD when the window is greatly reduced. Synchronize HUD positions in the replay and at real tables - synchronizes the location of HUD panels in the replay and in real time. If enabled, when viewing the hand history (replays), the HUD panels will be positioned exactly the same as on the table. This is convenient so as not to get confused about the location of statistics between different viewing modes. Default cell padding in HUD - sets the internal padding between the statistics elements inside each HUD cell. Sets the distance (with margins on the left, top, right, and bottom) from the frame of the HUD panel to the text in it. It allows you to control the density of data display: a larger indentation makes the HUD more "airy", a smaller one makes it more compact. Dynamic HUD Hide HUD if player folded - hides the HUD for the player immediately after he discards the cards. It is useful not to be distracted by the statistics of players who have already passed. After the next hand, the HUD for that player will return. Hide HUD if Hero folded - hides all HUD panels on the table immediately after the "Hero" discards the cards. This means that immediately after your fold, the HUD will not be displayed until the start of a new hand. Allows you to focus on the process of dealing when another player moves. Hide HUD if there is no Hero at the table - The HUD will be shown only if there is a “Hero" at the table. If you are not at the table, HUD statistics are not displayed. This setting is useful if you are participating in several games at the same time and want to see the HUD only on those tables where you are playing. Enable Auto HUD - enables and disables Auto HUD mode. Enable HUD based on the previous hand history - The function provides the output of HUD windows based on the distribution history, automatically imported into the system. It can be useful in cases where the standard HUD window display method does not work correctly or causes critical errors. Popups Open popup on stat and main popup by left and right clicks - switches the way statistics popups open. If enabled, a pop-up block for specific statistics opens by clicking the left or right mouse button instead of hovering the cursor. This way you don't have to hold the cursor over the number for a long time - just click. If this option is disabled, the popup is called at mouse hover with a delay. Open assigned popup and main popup by left and right clicks - similar to the previous option, but for "linked" popups. When you turn on the left or right mouse button, the pop-up that you have assigned to these statistics opens. This setting is convenient for those who prefer clicking instead of pointing to open additional information windows. Main popup is always pinned - pins (fixes) the main popup window of the HUD. If this option is enabled, the main statistics window remains on the screen until you close it yourself. Otherwise, it may automatically hide when you click outside its area. Pinning is useful so that you don't accidentally close the pop. Delay to open popup on stat after mouse hover (ms) - the delay (in milliseconds) before opening the popup window when hovering over statistics. By default, it takes 400 ms so that the popups don't open accidentally with a light mouse touch. You can increase the value if the popups open too fast or if you are annoyed by frequent popups. The higher the number, the longer you need to hold the cursor over the statistics for the pop-up to appear. Notes & Showdown Indicators Show last showdown pocket cards and board - shows the last opened pocket cards and the board after the hand is completed. If enabled, the cards of all players will appear briefly above the table at the end of the hand (if they have reached the showdown). This allows you to quickly see the result of the hand without additional actions. Show last showdown (in milliseconds) - the display time of the last revealed cards and the board in milliseconds. For example, 7000 ms means that the cards will be visible for 7 seconds. You can decrease or increase it to control the duration of this informative "look" at the outcome of the distribution. Notes indicator shows only hands with a showdown - if enabled, the notes indicator will be displayed only for hands that reached the opening. That is, a note about the note on the player will appear only if the hand has ended with the opening of the cards. This is convenient if you want to mark and analyze only those hands that have reached the showdown. Notes indicator shows only hands with the pot size larger than (in BB) - filters the appearance of the note indicator by the size of the pot. By setting, for example, 10, you will see the note icon only if the hand pot exceeds 10 big blinds. Display player's color marker as a HUD border - displays the player's color marker (from the players' settings) as a frame around his HUD panel. In most cases, a color marker can be set above the player. When this option is enabled, the HUD receives a frame of this color, helping to quickly find out which group the player belongs to. Hot Keys Toggle table stat mode key (F4) is a hotkey for switching the HUD statistics display mode. When you click on the statistics, the HUD switches from the general data for all players' hands to the data collected only for the current table (with those who are playing with you). This is useful if you want to quickly compare how a player's overall stats differ from his stats on this particular table. Mark last hand key (F5) - assigns a key to quickly mark the last hand without tags. Clicking this button marks the most recent hand you played in the database. It is useful if you want to quickly mark a hand for further analysis without entering tags. Mark last hand with tags key (F6) - the key for marking the last hand with the addition of tags. After clicking, you can immediately assign tags to this hand, indicating its nature (for example, "excess aggression" or "flash miss"). This makes it easier to take notes on important hands during the game. Show table last hands key (F7) is a hotkey to access the list of recent hands on the current table. Clicking this button opens a "Tray" window with a list of recently played hands on this table. You can quickly see which hands were played on the table with the participation of the Hero, for example, for instant access to the story.
