Thanks to this, the HUD, reports, and all statistics are updated right after each hand is played, and you don't have to import files manually every time. Continuous analysis - the HUD is always up to date, and you see fresh stats during the game. Step-by-Step Guide 1. Enable Hand History Saving in Your Poker Client In your poker room settings (for example PokerStars), find and enable options like "Save My Hand History" and (for tournaments) "Save Tournament Summary." In other rooms, it might be called "Keep My Hand History" or something similar. After enabling, the client will save hand history in a default or selected folder. Automatic Archiving of Imported Hands After successful import, Hand2Note can optionally move processed files to a separate archive folder, keeping the main folder clean and uncluttered. Why an Archive Folder is Useful in Hand2Note 4: Once Hand2Note imports hand history files from the auto import folder, the files remain in the original folder. Over time, this can accumulate thousands of files, slowing down the tracker and making navigation harder. To prevent this, Hand2Note lets you specify an archive folder. Archive Benefits: Keeps auto import folder clean After importing, each hand is automatically moved to the archive folder. Only new, unprocessed files remain in the auto import folder. Prevents duplicate imports Archived files are excluded from future imports, avoiding duplication and unnecessary database load. Organized hand history storage All played hands are collected in one place - the archive folder. You can easily find old hands for manual review or backup. Stable performance Fewer files in the auto import folder means faster detection of new hands and quicker HUD/report updates. Easy backup The archive folder acts as a single source for copying or transferring your full poker history to another computer or during a program reinstall. Enabling auto archiving is very simple: Toggle the Archive hands switch to the right. Specify the folder for archiving hands (by default, this is C:\MyHandArchive_H2N4).
