The massive $60 million prize pool attracted many experienced players and high-stakes grinders to this event. There was a lot of action going on at the Super Main’s Day 2a. After late registration, the field grew to over 1,500 entries, and players who got through the early grind were fighting for chips and position before the crucial money bubble. When so much is at stake and every decision could mean winning or losing tens of thousands of dollars, patience is a virtue. Mustapha Kanit, the seasoned Italian pro, and the unpredictable Martin Kabhrel were in the middle of the action-packed event, and it took no time for things to get heated. The Hand That Sparked the Chaos Day 2a’s big moment didn’t start with a cooler or a bad beat. Strangely, it all began with a disagreement over time banks, which are one of the ways to keep big field events running smoothly. After facing a 3bet from Kabrhel, who had , Mustapha Kanit found himself all-in with fighting for his tournament life. Kanit went into a deep tank. In high-stakes poker, that’s normal. But when he used his permitted one-time bank, the clock kept running. This led Kabrhel to yell that Kanit “owed” another one. The dealer stopped the game and called the floor. What should have been a simple explanation turned into a scene: people at the table looked at each other in confusion, and one even shouted: “They’re speaking the same language; what the heck is going on?!” as the argument went on. “Let’s Dance, Martin!” 😳 Tension is building between @Mustacchione and @martinkabrhell and it’s boiled over into a fiery all-in between the two!🔥 Will Martin add to his already strong chip stack, or will Mustapha Kanit find a double?➡️ Follow for updates on the WSOP+ app! pic.twitter.com/XSYrhZDHfc— WSOP - World Series of Poker (@WSOP) December 13, 2025 Finally, the event director, Andy Tillman, was called over. He told everyone that the one-time bank had been confirmed as used, there were no penalties in place, and the clock would start again. Now that he understood the rules, Kanit leaned in and looked Kabrhel directly in the eye. He called Martin and said, “Let’s dance, Martin!” As the board revealed its cards, this situation favored Kanit, allowing him to double his stack to just over 45 big blinds, which earned him a significant number of chips and some attention. Kabrhel took a hit but still had well over 70 big blinds at that point. When the dealer pushed the chips to his side, Kanit didn’t remain silent: “I’m dancing, Martin.” “Look at how I dance!” he shouted, grinning as he piled up his new chips. Later that day, Kabrhel had the last laugh by eliminating Kanit from the event and getting a big chip lead as Day 2a came to an end. Poker Community Reaction As the clip of the exchanges spread on the internet, the poker world had many different views about it. @hvdm1987: I’ve always hated this guy, but this makes it so much worse!— Herman (@hvdm1987) December 13, 2025 @SoftwareBrian: @martinkabrhell does the same thing in every tournament! When it's dished back, he doesn't like it, so the floor immediately puts a stop to it!!!Allowing him to constantly berate players, then preventing other players from doing the same is beyond absurd! This isn’t far off…— SoftwareBrian (@SoftwareBrian) December 13, 2025 @Bigfish_Kyle: Gives it to everybody else but cries wolf when it's back on himPretty cringe person tbh— Kyle (@Bigfish_Kyle) December 13, 2025 @Balbomb1: Amazing how much more fun showing actual emotion is for watching tournament poker.
