Alex Foxen and Ossi "Monarch" Ketola played in what is now the biggest televised poker pot in history, a record-setting $10.99 million hand.

It was another unforgettable moment from the Triton Poker Series Jeju II.

The duel happened just one night after they went back and forth in a high-stakes action, proving that Triton Jeju has become where the most exciting poker stories happen.

Ketola Seeks Redemption After Costly Losses

Ketola, the Finnish businessman who made news when he lost $15 million to Dan "Jungleman" Cates at the Onyx Super High Roller Series in Cyprus, was already familiar with the action when he started the Jeju session.

Ketola needed a comeback because he had lost $9 million to Foxen in earlier games and $6 million to Wiktor "Limitless" Malinowski over the weekend, and he got it.

He cut down on his South Korea loss by winning this famous hand and felt better about himself going into future Triton matches.

How the Record Hand Played Out

It all started when Ketola raised the stake to $150,000, holding , and Foxen decided to defend with  .

The flop came , and Ketola hit two pair on the flop, while Foxen had bottom pair and an opportunity to complete his flush.

Both players took a moment to check, keeping their true strength under wraps.

When the  landed on the turn, Foxen completed his flush and bet $250,000 into the pot. Ketola decided to call, increasing the pot to $800,000!

The river card was , which was bad news for Foxen. The river gave Ketola a full house, beating Foxen’s flush in a tough way.

Foxen placed a $550,000 bet, but Ketola responded with a massive shove of $6.1 million.

After tanking for long and table talk, Foxen decided to make the call, resulting in an enormous pot of $10,990,000, the largest ever witnessed in televised poker!

Ketola put his boat on the table, and Foxen, always the positive one, smiled and said, “GG,” as the chips moved across the table.

YouTube Pulls the Plug

It's fascinating that the record hand almost went by without anyone noticing!

YouTube took down Triton's video right before the big pot was completed because it violated their "Community Guidelines." After all, Triton's video ensured poker fans could see that critical moment.

Poker Community Reaction

The $11M pot caused a massive stir on social media. Both poker players and fans quickly shared their reactions:

@Ignition_AU:

@SeekFain:

@SirWirtz:

@MartinoPoker:

@FishfromFish:

@Boo_el_prez:

@javieriforero:

While some praised Ketola’s disguised line, others criticized Foxen for making a hero call in a spot where the value hands far outweighed bluffs.

What’s Next for Foxen vs. Ketola?

There is a lot of buzz in the poker world about a possible trilogy match.

Rumors are going around Landing Casino that there could be another high-stakes battle early Wednesday morning.

Fans can't wait to see if Foxen can fight back now that the momentum is on Ketola's side.

It's still possible to do new things in high-stakes poker with the Triton Poker Series Jeju II.

We don't know if Foxen and Ketola will battle again, but Triton sets a new standard for televised poker.
