Once more, GGPoker is leading the charge against cheating. Two players were banned for life on November 13 for violating the rules regarding account sharing during the GGMillion$ event, as reported by the site.

The violation was discovered before the final table on November 11, and the poker site claims that it acted swiftly to protect the fairness and integrity of the game.

Account sharing, also known as "ghosting," occurs when one person secretly uses another player's account to play in games.

GGPoker doesn't allow behavior that "undermines competitive integrity."

How the Violation Was Discovered

Things went wrong on the first day of the GGMillion$ event, which was held on November 9, 2025.

The security team at GGPoker observed unusual activity from the "Hinaru" account.

The security team investigated and discovered that the account owner was not the one operating it. After learning about the breach, they wanted to be sure before closing the account.

The player "Hinaru" continued playing during that period and even made it to the final table as the chip leader.

As soon as GGPoker obtained proof, they took action.

In a video, GGMillion$ host Jeff Gross explained that the player was unable to play because the site had shut down their account prior to the start of the final table.

After that, the account was blinded out until it was eliminated.

Furthermore, GGPoker stated that the individual who played on the "Hinaru" account without being its legitimate owner has been permanently banned.

They are no longer able to access GGPoker or any associated sites.

To ensure fairness for all players, GGPoker's settlement policy will return $115,752.22 to those affected.

A Continued Fight Against Cheating

There have been two big cheating scams at GGPoker in the last few weeks.

Ren Lin, one of the platform's ambassadors, got in a lot of trouble in October when he admitted to helping another player in real time at the GGMillion$ final table on October 14.

These two incidents demonstrate GGPoker's commitment to ensuring fair and transparent games. GGPoker has said many times that being open and honest is a big part of its strategy.

When someone cheats, GGPoker promptly informs everyone about what occurred and the subsequent actions that will be taken.

GGPoker Reaffirms Its Zero-Tolerance Policy

It was very clear from GGPoker's last statement that account sharing and ghosting are serious violations with permanent consequences.

The operator promised to identify and penalize anyone who attempts to break the rules.

The site also said that its goal is to give all players a "fair, safe, and competitive environment."

GGPoker maintains it will keep getting tools to find illegal activities, obey the law, and act whenever it needs to, before, during, or after an event.

Poker platforms like GGPoker will keep improving security and keeping the game's identity as the number of people who play high-stakes online poker grows.
