EPT Paris 2023 was the first time the European Poker Tour landed in the French capital – and it made a big splash. The festival took place at the Hyatt Regency Paris Étoile from February 15 to 26, with 39 events on the schedule, from satellites and side tournaments to high rollers.
The €5,300 Main Event was the star of the show, pulling in 1,606 entries – 1,159 unique players and a whole bunch of re-entries—building up a huge €7,708,800 prize pool. That’s not just a big number; it’s the largest Main Event ever in a city’s first time hosting the EPT, and it even lands sixth on the all-time list for the tour. All told, the festival brought in more than 11,000 entries across every event, with the prize money shooting past €33 million.
